Description
Learn the process of cutting and printing a linoprint ‘key block’ (the main design), by the end of the day you will have produced at least one linoblock and printed a small series of images on paper. The print can be coloured with watercolours, inks, pencils at home when it is thoroughly dry and Sarah will be able to advise on tools and materials to enable participants to continue cutting and printing designs at home without requiring a press. The process involved can be very meditative and working in a small group is often a lovely way to create artwork. Sarah supplies a number of galleries in East Anglia with her popular linoprints and specialises in hand colouring with watercolours and inks.
Raveningham Centre (NR14 6NU), 10-3pm, all materials included. Cafe on site or bring a packed lunch. Free parking.

She supplied the information and instruction needed for each phase of the lino cutting and printing process in a relaxed, friendly yet logically organised fashion , flowing from one step to the next without overwhelming her students. Always aware of each ones progress and needs.
