An opportunity to explore the beautiful landscape of South Norfolk and North Suffolk in a one-day workshop with established Painter, Printmaker and Curator Sarah Cannell. Free up your drawing skills and learn how to capture the essence of a place through line and bold colour. This workshop focuses on developing drawing skills and finding strong compositions as a starting point. We will be using a mix of pencil, pen, ink and acrylic on paper.
Sarah’s workshops are suitable for all abilities with her relaxed approach giving beginners confidence and her depth of knowledge being a useful source for more confident artists to bounce ideas off. Participants should expect to come away from each workshop with fresh ideas as well as a renewed enthusiasm and creative drive. Teas and coffees included, bring your own lunch. Workshop runs 10-4pm, all materials included, maximum 12 students. Workshop space at The Raveningham Centre, Beccles Road, Raveningham, Norfolk, NR14 6NU.
